About Us

O’Neill Landscape Design creates private gardens that overflow with life. We design public recreation areas that protect nature and encourage use, and we restore troubled ecosystems to states of balance and health.

Our work in landscape planning and design spans more than two decades of experience. During this time, we’ve gained expertise in a wide variety of residential, commercial, and public projects—from small backyard gardens to large woodland campgrounds.

If there’s a philosophy behind our work, it’s to balance the needs of people and nature. We listen attentively to our clients and carefully analyze outdoor sites to create landscapes that are beautiful, cost-effective, and sustainable.

Based in Vancouver, Washington, O’Neill Landscape Design provides on-site services to clients located throughout the greater Portland/Vancouver area. We also offer affordable online planning and design services across the U.S

Kellie O’Neill, Principal
Kellie O’Neill has worked in the field of landscape design for more than 20 years. A life-long outdoor enthusiast, she combines an in-depth understanding of planning and design issues with commitment to professional standards and a knack for solving problems in new ways. Her approach to landscape design is a fusion of science, nature, and creativity—resulting in outdoor environments that are both enjoyable and natural.

Prior to forming O’Neill Landscape Design in 1997, Kellie spent seven years as a landscape architect for the Siskiyou National Forest in Oregon, an experience that greatly contributed to her expertise in restoration ecology and public recreation planning.
